Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Nursing Education and licensed Registered Nurse, provides professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care.

Functions as an associate to a nurse.

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu.

The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center.

Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

Our Telemetry Unit provides competent and quality intermediate care to patients who are hemodynamically stable/unstable and require continuous cardiac monitoring.

The Telemetry Unit is designed for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring, or frequent assessments and interventions, which cannot be provided on the general Medical/Surgical Units, yet who are more stable than those requiring Intensive Care Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be in last semester of nursing school or have completed a degree in nursing or nursing school educational program accepted for registered nurse licensure by the Hawai'i Board of Nursing.

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications:
Must have completed the Spring 2024 Academy Innovations New Graduate Program, 4th Floor, at Pali Momi Medical Center.
