    This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office).

    Ideal candidates will live in the state of Indiana and reside within 50 miles the PulsePoint on 220 Virgina Ave.

    The Technology Integration Specialist position is responsible for providing technical assistance, training, education, consultation, and advisement as a subject matter expert (SME) in the area of Assistive Technology devices, solutions, and services.

    This position uses best practices to help facilitate and support the person-centered integration of Technology Solution products and services amongst the market's members and network of providers in order to encourage cooperation and alignment with our Independence First approach.

    This position reports directly to the LTSS lead in each market.
    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:


    Serve as a liaison and collaborate with state and local partners, including the state authority for Medicaid, and serving as the contact person and liaison for Technology Solutions.

    Provide support to service coordination teams in identifying individuals who are interested and could benefit from Technology Solutions and developing a plan to utilize technology as a natural support.

    Develop processes for assisting care and service coordination teams with assessments and recommendations for Technology Solutions, authorization of Technology Solutions through Minor Home Modifications, PERS and Specialized Medical Equipment services and regular review and follow-up of Technology Solutions plans to assure ongoing effectiveness.

    Develop processes for working with Provider Engagement team as applicable for identification of providers/vendors, outreach, oversight and effectiveness of Technology Solutions implementations.

    Develop processes for working with utilization management team on appropriateness and necessity of Technology Solutions and Minor Home Modifications.
    Participates in Circle of Support meetings as needed to offer guidance, technical assistance, and updates about Technology Solutions.

    Attends workshops, trainings, virtual webinars, meetings, and other relevant technology events to expand their knowledge of being a subject matter expert for the integration of Technology Solutions and to keep up to date on current and available supports and services.

    Assisting in facilitating, implementing, and managing pilot projects geared towards the discovery of emerging technologies, innovative ideas, and the Independence First approach.

    Develop and implement trainings for care and service coordination teams, provider engagement and utilization management teams, and others as applicable, and be a champion for organizational transition.

    Coordinate the training of care and service coordination teams in Independence First approach as well as Technology First Shift training and certification as appropriate.

    Serve as resource to HCBS providers in Technology Solutions plan implementation and documentation.
    Develop system and track Technology Solutions benefit utilization for regular reporting and data mining.
    Work with care and service coordination teams to identify success stories and create a library of successes.

    Minimum Requirements:


    Requires BA/BS degree and minimum of 2 years experience in assessing and applying assistive technology for individuals or organizations or personal experience using assistive technology; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.


    Preferred skills, qualifications and experiences:
    Licensed Occupational Therapist
    Licensed Physical Therapist
    Experience with Long-Term Services and Supports
    Experience in Medicaid Managed Care
    Experience as an educator or trainer
