    IKON Construction - Sommet Blanc Project

    Project Structural Superintendent / Concrete and Structural Steel High Rise Condominium Project in Park City, Utah

    IKON Construction is looking for a dedicated, experienced Construction Structural Superintendent to lead the on-site team of Concrete and Structural Steel Professionals. The ski-in ski-out project is located in the Deer Valley area of Park City, Utah and consists of 300,000+ square feet of concrete, including slabs and footings on grade, mild slabs, post tensioned slabs, precast decks, building cores and complex steel and concrete roof systems. Campus includes three individual buildings consisting of 49 high end luxury condos, spa, restaurant, bowling alley and other amenities that are complex and will require a professional who is experienced in the construction of high rise concrete buildings.

    The Superintendent will:

    • Assist the Project Manager in creating timelines and pour schedules.
    • Ensure that the Subcontractors have the resources at their disposal to successfully complete their work.
    • Ensure that the work is prosecuted safely.
    • Coordinate with Subcontractors, including MEP contractors, to ensure that they are correctly planning for and installing imbeds required for their work.
    • Coordinate with the project team to create and maintain meeting minutes where necessary.
    • Coordinate with the community and local HOA's to ensure that the local guidelines for construction operations are followed.
    • Coordinate with Park City building authorities to ensure that inspections are carried out.
    • Coordinate with the Special Inspector to ensure that his requirements are met.
    • Be the final quality control officer for the project to ensure that layouts are correct, floors are flat and that the structure is secure.
    • Protect the project from weather and condition the project so that work can proceed year round in a challenging environment.
    • Assist the Project Manager with RFI's, CCD's Change Orders, and other contract modification documents when required.
    • Perform Quality Control assessments and track items that need to be brought into compliance.
    • Coordinates with other superintendents to ensure responsible person coverage in place for after-hours work.
    • Assist the Project Manager in preparing BIM Modeling to predict and mitigate any system clashes that may occur.
    • Coordinates with the project team to ensure the construction drawings are updated with approved changes.

    The Successful candidate will:

    • Be an excellent communicator
    • Be willing to put in the hours necessary to ensure that the project stays on schedule
    • Have a minimum of ten years of commercial or high rise residential experience, with at least 4 years in the construction of similar projects
    • Have a comfortable relationship with computers and the ability to work within multiple software systems
    • Have an excellent driving record.
    • Be able to pass a drug screening test
    • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
