ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, and patient care needs of the Department of Ophthalmology and assist in fulfilling UTMB's mission.
He/she will participate in all teaching activities of the Department including conferences and lectures, house staff supervision in the clinics, continuing education, and local, regional and national meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an ACGME approved residency training program in general optometry, with an interest in pediatric optometry be Certified/Board Eligible in Optometry and have a Texas Optometry license without restrictions.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience
