WEEKENDs ONLY (SATURDAYs AND SUNDAYs.)

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling laundry operations, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall hygiene of our facility. Your dedication will directly contribute to creating a welcoming environment that guests can rely on for fresh, crisp linens and spotless garments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in laundry and cleaning services within a dynamic hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color on a, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty fabrics as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sinks, machines, and storage spaces, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories
- Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric treatment to uphold quality standards
- Support overall cleaning tasks around the facility to ensure a hygienic environment for staff and guests
- Prepare bags of the cleaning team for each property on daily basis ( be able to use a cleaning/laundry software)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry effectively
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
