Position Automation Tester
Location - Whippany NJ - Hybrid
Rate - DOE
Duration - 6 months +
Start date - ASAP

Job Description

Under minimal supervision, create Automation scripts - estimates, scripts, pre and post conditioning.
Executes Automated Tests and collates evidence for Test automation progress reporting and tracking.
rticulates the tests executed, data used, the results and defects to project stakeholders

Key Accountabilities

Participate in discussions with functional team to understand the gherkin tests along-with required Pre and Post conditions.
Create query log/ mind map/ flow charts
Create Automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, Cucumber.
Functional testing of Cards domain applications
Set up and Execute Automated tests and record evidence.
Raise defects with appropriate amount of details
Hand-over the automated scripts post stabilization to functional release teams and feature teams.
Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test automation and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate
Complete tasks / deliverables within schedule constraints (for self)
Provide guidance to other team members on technology/ application queries.
