    Powered by The Home Depot, HD Supply is actively hiring Non-CDL, Delivery Drivers to make local truck deliveries for our distribution center location in Nashville, TN.

    The HD Supply Truck Fleet of box trucks does not require any special driver's license.

    A standard driver's license, a minimum age of 21, and a minimum of 6 months of experience operating a 16ft - 26ft box truck will qualify you for consideration for this role.

    Hourly pay starts at $22.50 and will be higher depending on your experience level. Opportunity for overtime and bonuses

    Openings for full-time scheduling are available. Shifts start at 6:00 am - complete, Monday–Friday. No weekends, no overnights

    What you should expect in the scope of work:

    We want our Warehouse and Driver Team to enjoy their day at work and be able to motivate themselves and others while having fun As a company driver, you will be working in a very dynamic position, with a lot of moving parts that all share a high level of importance. You will be making deliveries to customer's job sites and will need to be highly aware of safety procedures, which we will review in your training.

    Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:


    • Pulling orders


    • Taking inventory of your manifests (order list) ensuring accuracy


    • Loading inventory and unloading at customer's site (lift gates / pallet jacks / forklifts)


    • Perform routine vehicle inspection to ensure road safety (DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection)


    • Secure load and check prior to moving vehicle


    • Plan your route to the customer for delivery


    • Contact customer upon arrival (may have to wait if they are not present)


    • May have to help problem-solve with a customer if they have an issue


    • Complete inventory and driving logs and other records to keep with company policy and procedures

    Must-have requirements for this job:


    • Able to operate a 26' box truck, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials


    • Able, with or without accommodations, to do things like lift (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally), walk, move, pack, and unpack goods throughout the day with equipment provided


    • Able to safely climb in and out of the cab/box of the truck


    • Able to pass a drug test, driving record check, PSP, background check, and Dept of Transportation (DOT) physical exam


    • Able to speak fluent English for safety and customer service purposes


    • Valid driver's license


    • 21+ years of age due to insurance requirements

    Education and Experience:


    • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED (or pending completion) and have a minimum of 6 months experience with delivery driving.


    • Warehouse work experience


    • Forklift experience or certification


    • Experience operating hand trucks, pallet trucks, or similar equipment


    • Experience with inventory-related handheld computer devices
