    Job Description Machinist I & II – 1st & 2nd shifts Kable/MBS is recruiting for company that is proud to say that their product is made in America. ROLE RUNDOWNRESPONSIBILITIESInspection of product, operation and repair of equipment, troubleshooting, counting and record production, knowledge of good housekeeping practices. REQUIREMENTSAbility to frequently lift to 75 lbs.SAFETYAbility to stand continuously for extended periods of time, up to the shift day. Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to eight feet overhead) or below shoulder level. Ability to push, pull, grasp, hold, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop on a repetitive basis. Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Work from sketches, prints, own concepts, or verbal instructions to make and/or assemble fastener tooling, parts, and equipment.
    • Produce parts, tooling, and equipment.
    • Work will consist of machining operations on a wide range of machine tools requiring a knowledge of manufacturing processes.
    • Document activities in the form of reports, sketches, etc.
    • Devise and make holding fixtures.
    • Set up and operate a wide variety of standard machine tools to work to very close tolerances.
    • Other jobs as assigned by supervisor.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Preferred high school graduate or equivalent.
    • Must be able to read and write and perform arithmetic calculations.
    • Capable of understanding and practicing Total Quality Process.
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Be a team player with an ability to work well with others.
    • Ability to stand continuously for extended periods of time, up to the whole shift (10 hours)
    • Ability to move and/or lift to 75 lbs. on a continuous basis for 100% of working hours.
    • Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to eight feet overhead) or below shoulder level.
    • Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop on a repetitive basis.
    • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, including grasping and holding.
    • Maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including working overtime as needed.
    • Pass a background check and drug test.
