    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

    Certified Surgical Tech

    CST

    Full-Time

    Certified Surgical Tech candidates for the Operating Room will have the following job responsibilities:
    • The Surgical / Operating Room Tech II, under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse, provides direct and indirect perioperative patient care for patients requiring surgical intervention, in a minimum of three OR specialty areas (Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Cardio/Thoracic) one of which must be Neuro or Cardio, with cases/patients of high acuity.
    • The Surgical / Operating Room Tech II assumes call rotation responsibility for all procedures excluding those considered within the scope of the open heart team call responsibilities, unless trained in the cardio/thoracic specialty.
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

    Certified Surgical Tech candidates for the Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
    • Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC, current CST Certification preferred, Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
    • Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.
    • Minimum of one year of experience as a Surgery Technician.
    • Advanced knowledge in the scrub role and responsibilities for majority of surgical specialties. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
    Current Openings:

    1 Service Line Lead Tech (5 years of exp, with 2 years exp. in Ortho)

    1 Opening for a Neuro Surgical Tech (neurosurgical procedures exp. Required)

    2 Openings for Surgical Tech III (certified and must have 1 year of exp required)

    Hourly Wage Estimate: $ $39.01

    Sign-On Bonus: Case By Case Basis

    Relocation: Case by Case Basis

    Both bonuses are taxed and paid out within the first 30 days of employment in one lump sum. There is a 2-year commitment.

    Evening & Weekend Differential: $2.50

    Night Shift Differential: $5.50
