Adventist Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our dynamic Gastroenterology team.

This position offers a rare blend of specialties, encompassing General Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy.

In addition to traditional gastroenterological care, this role presents the chance to delve into the management of Obesity, Endo-Hepatology workup, which is exclusively available at our center in the Central Valley, and other Foregut disorders.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal disorders under the supervision of attending physicians.

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing research projects within the department.
Masters degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology or a related field preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
