    Job Description:

    The role of an Environmental Planner I or II at EEG involves supporting environmental planning and permitting for electric transmission line projects in the western United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental planning, spatial analysis, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

    As the Environmental Planner, your responsibilities will include obtaining permits, drafting compliance plans, conducting GIS mapping, preparing environmental documents, collecting field data, and collaborating with project teams.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Obtain utility crossing permits.
    • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
    • Support the development of compliance plans.
    • Participate in meetings with project teams and clients.
    • Conduct spatial analysis using GIS.
    • Research environmental regulations.
    • Support various environmental disciplines.
    • Compile and organize data.
    • Author technical reports.
    • Complete assignments on time and within budget.
    • Adhere to safety and environmental policies.
    • Maintain quality standards.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Education and/or Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Organized, dependable, and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license.
    • Preferred experience in electrical transmission, GIS, and drone operation.

    Compensation will be based on qualifications.
