    Description
    Responsibilities


    The physical therapist is responsible for providing competent evaluation and treatment to outpatients and/or inpatients in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

    JCAHO standards and the APTA code of ethics.

    The Physical Therapist will provide intervention to individuals who experience a loss of and/or a deficiency in functional independence related to chronic, traumatic or developmental illness, impairment and/or disability.

    Interventions are developed with the patient and their family and/or significant other(s) as partners in the rehabilitative process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of a Bachelor of Science from an accredited school.

    Current Florida license or license eligible.

    None required for acute adult setting

    Prefer one year of experience for outpatient positions
