United Painting is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Estimator/Salesperson. With a focus on providing exceptional residential and commercial painting services, including staining and cabinet refinishing, we're looking for someone who can bring their expertise in both estimating and sales to the table.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the opportunity of commission-based income with no ceiling on earning potential.

Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments with homeowners and commercial clients to assess and quote projects
- Conduct on-site evaluations and walkthroughs to gather information for accurate estimates
- Generate detailed quotes using company software and estimating tools
- Sell and close estimates on-site with a target closing rate of 50%
- Work company-provided leads and self-generate additional opportunities
- Assist with lead generation through cold calling and door-to-door efforts when not running estimates
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth project handoff and execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and/or estimating (trade experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate estimating
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively
- Willingness to self-generate leads in addition to running company-provided appointments
- Comfortable using software and estimating tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to attend sales training and ongoing development
