    The Position

    The Business Analyst Experience

    As a Business Analyst at Claro Healthcare, you will work on complex financial analyses, model and tool development, and workflow processes, and hone your skills on executive dashboarding, leading meetings, and client relationship development.

    You will work both independently and as part of a team, support a wide variety of healthcare providers across the US and have the opportunity to solve complex problems and introduce creative solutions to our clients. You will have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with our Managing Directors, Senior Staff, and Clinicians and be part of a team which promotes feedback and growth.

    Business Analysts work on multiple teams across prestigious academic medical centers and large healthcare systems across the country. Teams are drawn from members of the firm with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Together, we look to partner with our clients to help them provide better care to their communities and achieve their mission.

    Upon joining Claro Healthcare, you will be part of an immersive onboarding experience, allowing you to gain technical skills, including Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, and continue to refine and enhance your problem-solving, client relationship management, and project/program management skills.

    You will also have to opportunity to be involved in or lead internal Claro Healthcare committees and initiatives including the Mentorship, Civic, and Recognition Committees, among others.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess:
    • 1-3 years' experience in data analytics or financial analysis
    • Experience analyzing large data sets, problem solving and quantitative analysis
    • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, organization skills, critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills
    • Prior consulting experience a plus
    • Experience with SQL and/or Tableau a plus
    • Ability to and interest in travel
    • This role requires a fair amount of client travel. At the present time, the majority of Claro Healthcare's clients require onsite visitors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

    Education
    • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Healthcare Management/Administration preferred. Engineering, Science, Public Policy, Operations or Information Systems with a minor in of the above, will also be considered
    • A GPA of 3.2 or higher
    Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations
    • Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
    Work Environment
    • Travel Required: Approximately 50%
    • The role is based in Chicago
    • Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and client settings, and routinely uses standard office equipment
    • It may require the maintenance of a home office and proximity to an airport for work related travel
