- Expertise in using the Oracle RDBMS for 8+ years
- Experience in operating and maintaining systems at AWS
- Understanding of networking principles
- Experience with protecting either PII data or classified data
- Knowledge and ability in monitoring systems that are required to be always up and available
- Troubleshooting capabilities, to find and correct problems.
- Ability to work productively with individuals with varying technical and non-techncial skills
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and to take on technical problems that are new and
- Certification with the Oracle RDBMS
- Certification with AWS
- Some Management/Team Lead experience
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux expeience
- Windows Server Operating System experience
- Advancced AWS certifications
- Experience with PeopleSoft and/or PeopleTools
- Experience with public web sites
- Location is remote. The client has locations in Topeka KS, Kearneysville WV, Alexandria VA, and
- Residence in the DC Metro area preferred. Residence in the Eastern or Central Time Zones
- Schedule is flexible. We are on call 24/7, but calls are few and far between. Some night and
- Frequent brief teleconferences are required. There is at least one every workday.
- Outstanding Oral and Written Communications. Complete fluency in English is mandatory since
