    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Contractor Program Security Officer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD office
    Within a team of security professionals, be a lead Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for assigned Department of Defense (DoD) contracts

    We are seeking an experienced self-starter who is capable of holistic and independent security management of multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs).

    Applicantmust be familiar with the disciplines of Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Industrial Security
    Applicant must be knowledgeable in all aspects of Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) along with strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    The CPSO is the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements
    The CPSO will complete the PAR process, prepare for inspections, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers, and debriefings, maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems and perform other duties as assigned
    The position is in a corporate setting and requires collaboration, teamwork, and on-demand support across all ManTech departments
    Infrequent travel required throughout DMV area

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensuring security compliance with contractual requirements and government policies
    • Interpreting and applying DoD Manual , Security Classification Guides (SCGs), the NISPOM, and other policies
    • Clearance processing for SCI, and SAP accesses via DISS and customer systems
    • Maintaining SAPF Accreditations, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), and Co-Use Agreements (CUAs)
    • Investigate and document securityviolations/incidents,providing recommendations for corrective actions to program personnel/management.
    • Documenting and reporting adverse information.
    • Upkeep of personnel security records
    • Program security self-inspections
    • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and OPSEC Plans
    • Administering Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA)
    • Document and media control and destruction
    • Safe, lock, and alarm management
    • Security indoctrination, refresher, and termination briefings
    • Managing and supporting subcontractors, to include issuance of sub DD254s.
    • Partnering with ISSOs to manage ATOs, applicable JSIG controls, and the Assured File Transfer (AFT) process.
    • Registry Management-Marking, packaging, wrapping, and couriering of classified material.
    • Familiarity with DISS, SIMS, CCURE, and JADS/JADE
    • Process incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications
    • Conduct internal self-inspections.
    • Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records and final disposition documentation

    Required Qualifications:

    • Preferred bachelor's degree, Military equivalent in related discipline, or equivalent education and experience
    • Minimum 4 years' experience as CPSO
    • In depth knowledgeable of the DoD SAP Manuals Vol 1-4
    • Ability to perform COMSEC duties including inventory and disposition
    Intermediate competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs Security Clearance Requirements:
