Anderson & Associates, is seeking Legal Secretary to join the Birmingham, AL office. Candidates must be detail-oriented, adaptable, resourceful, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    The successful candidate will support one attorney and responsibilities will include but are not limited to filing subpoenas and follow up, preparing pleadings, calendaring/scheduling, medical record follow up, and correspondence with clients.

    Required work hours are 7.45 per day, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30AM-4:45 PM -exact shift is flexible. Qualifications * 3-5 years of legal secretary experience preferred; civil litigation experience required

    • Familiarity of Alafile and Alacourt
    • Proficiency in software technology, tools, and case management software
    • Knowledge of legal and medical terminology, local and state rules regarding pleadings and pre-trial matters, and filing requirements
