- Assist with preparing federal and multi-state individuals and trust income tax returns.
- Learn and effectively utilize tax preparation software to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance the quality of service to clients.
- Review documents and tax returns for accuracy.
- Perform tax technical research.
- Coordinate and communicate with other team members to perform job functions.
- Other various assigned projects associated with tax and wealth services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of tax laws and concepts
- Familiarity with Form 1040 and/or Form 1041
- Strong technical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to take initiative to meet deadlines
- Strong communications skills (written/verbal) and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and remain flexible as priorities change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
- Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

We're hiring a dynamic Tax Associate to join our high-performing Wealth Strategy Department. The Tax Associate provides dedicated support to the tax preparation team and works closely with the wealth advisors to provide tax centric documents and planning support to high-net-worth families. This position requires flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: This position is based out of one of our offices – Austin, Chicago, Greensboro, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Scottsdale, or Seattle.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 base, plus bonus
