    SUMMARY OF POSITION:
    The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing daily oversight of the operations of the program. The Program Coordinator is the main contact with the funding agency and reports to the Associate Director.

    Primary responsibilities include expansion of the community partnerships for outreach, enhancement of prevention, and education messaging related to the specific grant needs.

    The position is full-time, contingent upon grant funding. Working hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the target population.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Takes a key role in the implementation of the program, including the development of protocols and procedures
    Provides leadership for all project activities, including day-to-day operations of the program.
    Provides oversight of program-specific worksites
    Assists in creating and monitoring internal reporting and evaluation methods to ensure that goals and objectives are met
    Reports progress and required reporting for funders and PRCC senior management, ensuring the fidelity of programmatic goals and objectives
    Establishes program partnerships to disseminate services
    Creates processes to identify and recruit participants and volunteers
    Promote our services and outreach
    Conducting HIV risk reduction group interventions
    Attends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings, including but not limited to the monthly organization-wide General Assembly
    Participates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People's Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, and Haunted Paseo Boricua
    Performs other functions assigned


    This position requires compliance with all of The PRCC's written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures, and Regulatory Compliance requirements.

    Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation.


    Requirements:

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Experience working with the target population
    Experience in Program Coordination
    Knowledge about HIV is preferred
    Knowledge about Event Management is preferred

    SKILLS:
    Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
    Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
    Works independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and clear sense of boundaries

    N/A

    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


    OSHA Category 3 – Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment.
