Job Title: Meat Department Associate

About the Job:
As a meat department associate at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our members have access to high-quality meat products. You will work closely with other associates to build a strong team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and maintenance. Prepare meat products according to established standards, cut boneless meat products, and maintain product quality standards.
2. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
3. Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to company policies and procedures, and securing fragile merchandise. Eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged and stored.
4. Be a Talent Ambassador: Provide exceptional customer service, model high-quality service and products, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, multitask, and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
