    Are you a skilled Java Developer with a knack for production support? Join our team in Wilmington, DE, as we revolutionize passenger rail transportation systems. We're looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Java Developer / Production Support. In this position, you'll be responsible for developing robust Java applications while providing essential production support when needed.

    responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and priorities.
    • Design, document, implement, and maintain complex IT solutions projects.
    • Conduct detailed business analysis to architect and design IT solutions.
    • Develop sizing, external design, detail design, and other project documentation.
    • Design, develop, test, and implement business-critical Java applications.
    • Develop cloud-native, enterprise-level services with a focus on high availability and performance.
    • Maintain technical documentation and provide support for problem analysis and resolution.
    • Monitor and resolve production problems for assigned applications or systems.
    • Collaborate with Product Owner and Test Engineer to create, develop, and execute test plans and cases.
    • Isolate and correct identified defects.
    • Utilize Test Driven Development methodologies to create use-case scenarios and unit test cases.
    • Ensure applications are developed according to Twelve-Factor Application Methodology.
    • Utilize AWS technologies for cloud-native design, development, and delivery.
    • Address application security vulnerabilities.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
    • strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot ecosystem.
    • Experience with REST and SOAP-based APIs.
    • Experience developing Data Access Layer (DAO) using Spring Data JPA, SQL, and Hibernate.
    • Familiarity with Gradle and Maven technologies.
    • Experience with Git in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) model.
    • strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work well under deadlines in an agile delivery environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 6.x).
    • Experience with Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber and Cypress testing frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
    • Knowledge of application security principles.
