Lochmueller Group is a regional engineering consulting firm with an emphasis on infrastructure.We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal.
Our water resources design team offers a variety of services, but most of our work involves Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater planning and infrastructure projects for various mid-west municipalities, public and private utilities, and water and sewer districts.

In this position the candidate will:
Work with discipline and regional leadership to grow the Water Resources team and service line in the Central Illinois region.
Lead and mentor junior-level engineers and other team members to aid in their developmentMaintain and enhance relationships with clients, building new opportunities for business development
Serve as a project manager with responsibility for wastewater, drinking water, and storm water projects
Apply knowledge acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions
Serve as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods
Review operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures
Qualifications for this role:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE)
12+ years of experience in this discipline
Extensive experience managing and designing wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater projects
Experience with project management and accounting software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
