Shift: Evenings only

Job summary:

The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures, applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to produce the magnetic image and expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS

Description & Requirements:

1yr min MRI exp required; 3 yrs MRI exp preferred

License/Certifications Required:

FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License

ARRT (MR) Required

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS

Education:

Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required.

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head, neck, body, MSK, spine and MRI imaging.
