    We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S.

    supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries.

    Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas.

    Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination.

    We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

    How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Site Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for basic maintenance work and rotating machinery.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Participate in the Life Critical Safety programSupport and comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures.

    Support and comply with all process safety management practices and operate within the established quality systems, reporting any deficiencyMake suggestions to improve plant safety, efficiency and quality.

    Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.

    Execute work orders, identify corrective maintenance activities & enter work orders and PM's into the Maximo CMMS.Participate in the execution & improvement of the facility's mechanical PMs.

    Maintain test equipment calibration & associated records.
    Monitors all rotating equipment and works with SME's to ensure proper operation.
    Maintain equipment records in both the CMMS & written form.
    Work closely with contractors & monitor contractor work quality.
    Works with Maintenance Coordinator to audit maintenance contractor shops.
    Performs equipment vibration monitoring routes and troubleshooting.
    Perform routine inspections on equipment as per Reliability Center standards.
    Actively participate in root cause analysis reviews.
    Assist Maintenance Coordinator in maintaining equipment manualsBe familiar with Reliability, Maintenance, & Corporate standards.
    Show understanding of basic SMR/Liquification Process (Pass Field and Drawing Test)

    Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant ManagerJob Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED required; 2 year technical degree preferredMinimum 4 years in plant maintenance activities requiredKnowledge of the use of a computerized maintenance management systemKnowledge of Microsoft Office / Google toolsStrong verbal & written communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize workAbility to maintain and repair plant equipmentBasic understanding of the facility's control systemThorough knowledge of pumps and compressorsAn understanding of the facility's process

    Physical Requirements:

    Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbsAbility to work extended hours and shift work as business needs dictateAbility to climb and ascend vertical ladders as requiredAbility to enter and work in confined spacesOn call nights, weekends and holidays as requiredHourly pay range - $ $37.10 per hourIndividual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job related reasons.
