Directs practice activities ensuring applicable policies procedures standard practices are adhered to for practice run smoothly Serves liaison staff physicians department division business office cohesive management practice Supervises oversees provides leadership functions support clinical staff which may include medical assistants lab x ray technicians nurses others Provides input efficiently effectively manage administrative systems operations finances marketing related clinical patient services functions Participates strategic planning overall development practice Primary Duties Responsibilities Manages all aspects relating support clinical staff personnel including hiring orientation scheduling monitoring time performance reviews salary decisions progressive discipline terminations Supervises onsite charge entry copy collection process works supervisor covering front desk medical records billing functions Evaluates efficiency patient flow other office operations determine cost effective way completing tasks ensures continual quality improvement strategy collects measures interprets operational clinical income data Identifies problems organizes teams develop implement solutions develops formal policy necessary Collaborates with leaders prepare adhere annual budget strategic planning ensures proper cost center methodology followed analyze financial performance practices cost centers Analyzes presents financial reports key performance indicators monthly May collaborate with marketing team create implement internal external marketing plan develop programs initiatives enhance patient revenue Oversees updates Web site social media interactions Reviews compliance plan annually ensures staff receives training applicable certifications updated Maintains confidentiality following HIPAA Compliance Plan established by Maintains inventory system supplies evaluates vendors develops relationships evaluates services needed Ensures proper equipment maintained including internet server computers printers scanners other electronic equipment Performs duties required
