    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (PICU - Open Heart) position requiring AR or compact licensure and prior travel experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a pediatric ICU setting
    Patient population includes pediatric cardiovascular cases, including open heart patients
    12-hour night shifts
    13-week contract assignment
    Responsibilities include caring for pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients with a focus on post-open heart procedures
    Candidates must be nicotine free
    Limited RTO (3 days or less accepted); no holiday RTO allowed

    Requirements
    Active AR or compact RN license required at time of consideration
    Minimum of 1 year pediatric cardiovascular and 1 year adult cardiovascular experience, or 2+ years combined pediatric/adult cardiovascular experience
    Prior travel nursing assignment is required
    Experience with Epic EMR

    Certifications required prior to start:
    BLS, ACLS, PALS
    Must pass a fit test (no facial hair unless for religious reasons)
    Must pass a nicotine test
    Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
