- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee nursing schedules and manage staff performance
- Handle and address any concerns or complaints
- Ensure the delivery of compassionate and high-quality care
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control practices
- Help determine the care needs and treatments required by residents
- Participate in stand-up, utilization, and management team meetings to discuss resident status and personnel
- Other duties as assigned
- Possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to make effective decisions that lead to short-term and long-term solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
