    Associate Director of Development

    The Carlos Rosario International School (CRIPCS), a leader in adult education and immigrant services, is seeking an Associate Director of Development. This role is essential in advancing the school's mission through dedicated fundraising efforts. The Associate Director of Development will lead the fundraising strategy and work closely with the school's leadership team to build and nurture relationships with key philanthropic partners, including individuals, foundations, corporations, and government entities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development team and oversee all aspects of fundraising. Supervise the Development Coordinator and other development supports, including contracted grant writers.
    • In partnership with the Chief of Staff, design and implement a comprehensive, multi-faceted fundraising plan, including annual giving, major gifts, grants, and special events.
    • Analyze and assess fundraising trends and adapt strategies to maximize effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal fundraising requirements and ethical standards.
    • Develop and oversee a donor recognition and stewardship program that fosters long-term engagement and investment.
    • Utilize CRM systems for tracking and reporting on donor activities, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
    • Engage in direct outreach to donors and prospects through meetings, presentations, and networking events.
    • Oversee the grant-seeking process, including setting strategy and direction for grants pursued by the school.
    • Ensure the team collaborates with program and finance departments to ensure grant proposals accurately reflect program needs and budgetary requirements.
    • Plan and execute fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and donor appreciation events, ensuring they align with the schools mission and fundraising goals.
    • Coordinate and lead fundraising campaigns, including capital campaigns, endowments, or specific program funding initiatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of nonprofit experience or the appropriate combination of education and experience.
    • Proven track record in developing and executing successful fundraising strategies
    • A strong strategic thinker who can initiate as well as implement.
    • Bilingual speaking and writing skills are preferred.
    • Passion for our mission and the work we do with adult immigrants.
    • Exceptional project management skills, including managing multiple campaigns and programs simultaneously.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, disciplined, and sometimes unpredictable environment.
    • Prior experience in academic advancement is desirable but not required.
    • Experience with technologies and best practices for creating content across multiple platforms.
    • Deep commitment to CRIPCS's core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners.
    • Must be able to provide proof of completed Covid-19 vaccination
    Salary ranges from $72,700.00 to 95,900.00 based on experience.
