CAD Modeler/Drafter - Port St Lucie, United States - Akkodis

Description

Akkodis is partnering with a company known for re-engineering, development and production of after-market gas turbine parts to hire a Modeler/Drafter. This a 6+ month contract position and will require your presence on site in Stuart, FL.

Duties:

• Prepare models of complex parts from 3D scan data using NX CAD Software
• Prepare complete production detail drawings
• Write, review, and implement changes to engineering drawings and models
• Work closely with engineering to incorporate all requirements into the design
• Requirements:

Requirements:

• Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years Modeling/Drafting experience
• Working knowledge of NX 10 or higher
• GOM Inspect or PolyWorks experience, a plus
• Experience with gas turbine design; Gas turbine airfoil design experience a plus
• GD&T knowledge, a plus
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder') Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Hourly rate will be determined based on years and caliber of experience.
