RMF Engineering, Inc. a National Engineering firm is currently seeking a P.E. track 5-7 year experienced
Senior Electrical Engineer
to complete electrical designs for complex building focused projects in new and existing facilities in our Baltimore,
MD office.
Position Description
The qualified individual will be required to perform electrical engineering tasks and functions associated with the design and construction administration support of low voltage systems, power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, and lighting systems.
Project types include healthcare, laboratories, higher education, and government facilities.The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for:
Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules
Low voltage infrastructure design for IT and security systems
Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls, and lighting calculations
Fire alarm device layout and design
Calculate loads and voltage drop
Performing field surveys
Construction support activities including attendance at meetings, shop drawing review, and responding to RFI's
Required Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills
Obtained the PE certificate
