    We are hiring a Full-Time Clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist at 601 Children's Lane for Evenings/Nights!



    • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • Under general department supervision, the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the quality performance of all modalities of Electroneurodiagnostic procedures according to the guidelines of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologists (ASET) and departmental policies. After hour call coverage is required. Reports to department leadership.
    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Performs, identifies, and assesses data related to the patient's status and age to identify problem areas for focused review of images and data, ensuring accurate reporting to the physician.
    • Accurately obtains brain activity waveforms and identifies brain activity waveforms for review and interpretation by the physician.
    • Provides all modalities of END and evoked potential procedures to patients of all age groups, following established policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Offers patient and family education.
    • Effectively utilizes END procedures and maintains equipment operation.
    • Assists management with performance improvement, billing, budget, equipment, and design processes related to END.
    • Performs clinical duties within the scope of clinical education/training, practice, and expertise for END procedures.
    • Performs other assigned duties and tasks.
    • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
    • Certification/Registration as an EEG Technologist (EEG) awarded by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) is required.
    • CPR Training is required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
    • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Preferably 2-3 years of Electroneurodiagnostic experience.
    • Knowledge of Electroneurodiagnostic techniques/principles and procedures, as well as operation and maintenance of Electroneurodiagnostic equipment.
    • Interpersonal and analytical skills are essential for effective communication with patients, families, nursing staff, and physicians, and for pathology detection based on knowledge of physiological cause and effect of diseases and clinical procedures.
    • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • This role involves a clinical patient care environment with minimal exposure to hazards such as excess noise, dust, or extreme temperatures. There is frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, body fluids, and other common healthcare conditions. Moderate adverse working conditions may occur due to certain patient care activities.
