The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Radiologist to join the thriving, expanding Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging (ETI).
The nocturnist position rotates 1 week on (10-hour shift, 10p-7am for 7 days) and 3 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academics).
This equates to 91 clinical shifts per year.The nocturnist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeasts busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing onsite interpretations overnight in conjunction with trainees.
Candidates should have a demonstrated career interest in Emergency Imaging, possess strong clinical skills, highly function in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting and work well in a collaborative environment.
Candidates should be prepared to participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. There are opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired.Underrepresented members in medicine and radiology are highly encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Candidates with subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience are desired.
