K?STA I.T is actively seeking a UI/UX Analyst foran immediate contract engagement with our government client.

Work Location: This position is hybrid.

Job Description:

The UI/UX Analyst plays a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of applications, ensuring they meet user needs and business requirements effectively. This role collaborates closely with various project stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams including business analysts, architects, developers, and QA to comprehend requirements and ensure the usability and scalability of IT solutions.
Work alongside Business Analysts to evaluate existing business processes and systems, developing comprehensive interface designs that align with business needs.
Participate in requirement gathering sessions and discussions with business owners to identify usability concerns and preferences.
Analyze current user flows and pain points to propose effective design solutions.
Lead the visual design and usability aspects of the product, guiding the team through design patterns and usability testing.
Advocate for end-users, continuously improving product design and usability.
Create sketches, wireframes, and mockups adhering to established design standards and accessibility requirements.
Review wireframes with stakeholders for validation before finalizing designs.
Provide resources and guidance to development teams on UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
Conduct usability and accessibility testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to accessibility requirements and standards.
Act as a liaison to our client's Center for Shared Solutions (CSS) eMichigan team.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design or Graphic Design preferred.
3+ years of relevant IT design experience.
Proficiency in designing to established standards such as W3C Web accessibility standards.
Strong experience in wireframing, prototyping, and using design tools like Figma.
Submission of a design portfolio is mandatory.
