    Job Description

    We are looking for a driven and strategic Production Manager to support and enhance the daily operations of our Production, Maintenance, Facilities, and Quality departments. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    You will be responsible for managing both hourly and salaried personnel, optimizing processes, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet production goals, control costs, and uphold safety and quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day operations across production, maintenance, facilities, and quality to ensure efficiency and alignment with production targets.

    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of hourly and salaried employees. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and development planning.

    • Performance Metrics: Develop, monitor, and refine KPIs to support operational efficiency, cost control, and the company's growth objectives.

    • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and production standards.

    • Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by developing and delivering training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting proactive safety practices.

    • Quality Assurance: Enhance product quality through the use of tools such as overlays, go/no-go gauges, diagrams, and process documentation.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels and with Sales and Service to align production with customer expectations.

    • Continuous Improvement: Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and drive process improvements across departments.

    • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates on performance metrics, safety, and operational progress to senior leadership.


    Qualifications:Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

    • 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.

    Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

    • Experience managing both hourly and salaried staff.

    • Proficiency in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

    • Familiarity with quality tools and safety program development.

    Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/manufacturing systems.

    • Experience with safety and quality management systems is a plus.

    Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
