    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The South Jordan Health Center Manager (HCM) provides supervision and feedback to clinical staff that promotes positive customer service, systems improvements and the maintenance of an efficient clinic. The HCM oversee all aspects of clinic management including personnel, maintenance, patient satisfaction, and clinic flow facilitation. Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory requirements, agency policies and protocols. Ability to work flexible hours.

    Tuesday 7AM-5PM

    Wednesday 9AM-7PM

    Thursday 7AM-5PM

    Friday 7AM-5PM

    Saturday Closed

    Sunday Closed

    Job Function:
    • Creates and maintains a secure and trusting environment by not sharing information learned on the job, except when necessary in the performance of job responsibilities.
    • Initiates activities with employees that develop team cohesion and collegiality.
    • Keeps staff agency-wide informed of clinic changes.
    • Actively identifies problems and opportunities for improvement.
    • Participates in the development of clear expectations regarding employee performance.
    • Participates in yearly team satisfaction surveys and responds to identified issues.
    • Provides measurable feedback following trial service periods and during performance evaluations.
    • Ensures that all staff receive on-going training that promotes compliance with Title X, PPFA, CLIA, and OSHA standards.
    • Addresses performance issues timely in accordance with agency Personnel Policies.
    • Facilitates problem-solving efforts and systems improvements for daily clinical operations.
    • Makes decisions that reflect an understanding of the PPAU mission and organizational structure.
    • Solicits feedback from staff regarding clinic concerns and problem-solving efforts.
    • Actively monitors and meet key performance indicators to meet or exceed benchmarks.
    • Coordinates training and orientation to staff and volunteers that ensures that delivery of services is consistent with protocols.
    • Utilizes staff observation and tools that ensure that delivery of services is consistent with the protocols. Provides for an efficiently operated clinic.
    • Completes vacancy review process to assure an appropriately staffed clinic through hiring and scheduling of staff to meet proper staff ratios.
    • Utilizes and promotes reengineering techniques which decrease patient cycle times.
    • Coordinates an inventory of medical and office supplies and systems to ensure that necessary supplies and systems are available.
    • Assures medical and financial audits are completed timely. Maintains an audit level of 90% or higher on clinic and staff audits.
    • Supports and promotes research projects to assure clinic achieves expected enrollment numbers
    • Monitors progress and completion of routinely assigned staff duties developing accountability systems.
    • Fills in as medical assistant assuming necessary duties of that job.
    • Maintains open lines of communication.
    • Addresses problems positively and listens non-defensively.
    • Represents PPAU in a professional and positive manner when dealing with clients, the public, volunteers, interns/externs, donors and other staff, demonstrating a commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service.
    • Participates with team members in identifying and improving systems, activities, behaviors, resolving issues, etc. which result in improving quality services.
    • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and to PPAU policy.
    • Attend and participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
    • Participates in annual team review process.
    • Understands their responsibility and participates in assuring productivity levels are maintained.
    • Demonstrates respect for diversity in daily activities.
    • Meet Agency standards for performance measures and attendance/punctuality.
    • Performs other duties as required or requested.
    Qualifications:
    • Technical or vocational training or 0-2 years of relevant experience
    • Training as a Medical/Clinical Assistant required with certification preferred.
    • 1-2 years in a clinical setting performing related job duties.
    • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish required.
    • COVID-19 vaccination and yearly influenza vaccination required.
    $70 - $70 a year
