    *What you'll do:
    *As a*SVP Physician Services you willstrategically lead, plan, organize, and direct all aspects of operations for Physician Services, in partnership with Division and Lifepoint Executive Leadership and in support of all growth, clinical, and operational strategies for the organization. Responsible for creating consistency and standard practices across the Department within the Health Support Center (HSC) and all Ambulatory practices. In addition, the Senior Vice President, Physician Services plans, guides, supports, and oversees the quality, patient safety, and best practice clinical operations within the ambulatory practices and post-acute locations inclusive of Rehabilitation.***Responsibilities:

    • Lead all day-to-day aspects of all employed practices in the organization to include, but not limited to, recruitment and on-boarding of physicians, retention of support staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians by ensuring the physician office and hospital are both a place where physicians want to practice, and staff want to work.
    • Establish key performance indicators KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of the physician services division and drive continuous performance improvement, including but not limited to improved patient outcomes, improved care delivery efficiency, waste minimization, and quality advancement.
    • Lead ambulatory practice service line development and efficiently manage the ambulatory practices, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Lead available employee resources for all ambulatory practices to include but not limited to, selecting, hiring, and training staff to provide superior support to our Ambulatory practices and Markets.
    • Lead and manage physician contracting process to ensure quality physicians are hired, physician contracts are compliant and meet state and federal legal guidelines and ensure fiduciary responsibilities of Lifepoint are fulfilled.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals within Physician Services, including coaching, development, and performance management for all ambulatory practice staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Work with the Development team to support ambulatory practices associated with new hospital acquisitions from due diligence through integration and onboarding.
    • Responsible for developing and implementing the organization strategic objectives focused on operational efficiency/effectiveness, best practice clinical operations, patient safety, and growth for all ambulatory practices.
    • Partners with Population Health/CIN and physician services leadership in the development of valued-based paymentmodelstrategies;providingeducation,resources,andtoolstoengageproviderstosucceedinthesemodels.
    • Supportphysicianandclinicalpracticegrowthbyscalingretentionandrecruitmentstrategies,providing education of the care continuum and leveraging physician and clinician capability across sites of care.
    • CollaboratewithandsupportLifePointMedicalStaffCredentialling,ProviderEnrollment,and other provider focused teams when needed.
    • Network closely and collaborate with key stakeholders, including physicians, division leadership, hospital leadership and executive leadership teams, to ensure alignment and integration of physician services with broader organizational strategies.
    • Drive and oversee Rural Health Clinics (RHC) and support Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) development and quality-based incentives for physician compensation.
    • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the performance and growth of the physician services division in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Responsible for overall quality/service, patient satisfaction, patient safety, operational efficiency/effectiveness, coding and compliance, annual wellness visits, and all measures in place to execute and drive the success for the ambulatory practices.
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    *What you'll need:
    *Education: *Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare management; Master's Degree preferred or equivalent advanced degree (MD, DO, PhD).

    *Experience: *Minimum of 10 years related progressive experience in healthcare management, with a focus on physician services, financial management and regulatory compliance.

    *Certifications: *Certified Public Accountant (CPA),Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or FACMPE preferred.
