- Lead safety culture within the project team or unit, including following safety protocols for all projects
- Manage diverse, fast-paced projects involving multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects
- Lead selling and cross-selling efforts; (Geotech, Property Condition Assessments, Wetland, Landfill, Civil, Survey)
- Lead in the development of strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects
- Track work progress relative to project schedules and budgets
- Actively manage project metrics, WIP and AR
- Supervise and provide work assignments to the project team
- Prepare, provide technical input, and/or review reports
- Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards
- Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review.
- Plan and execute own work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines
- Solve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisions
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals
- Mentor staff in required technical skills
- Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers, and clients
- Complete tasks efficiently and within the allowed budget
- Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice
- Motivate and encourage others and help the team achieve success
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science from an accredited institution
- 5-7 years of Environmental Project Management experience
- 3 years of consulting experience, preferred
- Experience applying federal and state environmental regulations
- Certified Professional Geologist (CPG), preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license

As an Environmental Project Manager at Verdantas, you will play a crucial role in managing multidisciplinary teams on a number of fast-paced, diverse projects, supporting environmental due diligence efforts. You will have the opportunity to oversee and coordinate all phases of projects while maintaining a technical role on the project team.
