Job Description
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of two (2) years of programming/systems analysis experience.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.
Proficient in the English language.
Experience working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand and document business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies when using modern development technologies like .Net, Java, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Experience in developing interfaces between systems using .Net and/or SSIS packages.
Contractor Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers, business analysts, and OIT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Work involved in the full systems life cycle.
Responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Assist in systems analysis, design, and have a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
