- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescription orders.
- Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
- Provide clinical support and consultation to healthcare providers and patients regarding medication therapy, dosage, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of prescription orders.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and monitor expiration dates of medications.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including medication error reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pharmacy operations and renal care.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Director of Pharmacy.
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Tennessee, in good standing.
