    OVERVIEW:

    This position assists the Accounting team with accounts payable, credit card reconciliation, accounts receivable collections, and other financial reporting including special projects. This position also assists the Development and Vincentian Support teams in support of the SVdP mission and its programs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Finance Responsibilities:

    • Provide A/P assistance (enter invoices and credit card expenses, copy, mail, file – payment requests, daily check review, weekly credit card notifications, set up new vendors, collect W9's, communication with vendors to solve discrepancies, etc.)
    • Process thrift store vouchers (entry, communicate w/ conferences, A/R Collections)
    • Review compliance on all program Voucher requests (Beds, Disaster, etc)
    • Review of Vincentian Program payment requests (assists with collecting missing documentation, review for completion on compliance)
    • Assists Vincentian Programs with monthly outcome reporting
    • Assists with Development, Conference Support, Thrift Store & Agency monthly financial reconciliations
    • Assist finance team with 990 & Annual Report data consolidation from CAR reports (data consolidation/analysis) and Special Projects (1099/W9, Vendor/Customer clean up and maintenance, key box project, file clean up, etc.)
    • Assist with Conference Grant payment requests, spreadsheet upkeep and communication
    • Manage Archive policy and procedures and upkeep
    • Provide back up support to Development for donation coding (lockbox, credit card donations, check donations)
    • Assist with month- and year-end closings, and annual audit, as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Associate Degree in Accounting/Business
    • Two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

    • Knowledge of:
      1. MS Windows (Advanced level)
      2. Bookkeeping and Accounting GAAP (Entry level)
      3. QuickBooks, preferred
