- Development of artifacts in support of RMF processes including the completion of RMF process steps in eMASS, the development of RMF artifacts (e.g
- Design and development of plans, processes, and procedures for the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency leading to authorization and Approval to Operate (ATO)
- Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements.
- Builds cybersecurity into systems and applications deployed to cloud environments
- Assists architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Agency security policy and enterprise solutions.
- Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures.
- Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
- Contributes to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
- Reviews certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- CompTIA Security+
- One of more of the following within 6 months of start on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, CISSP
- An ACTIVE Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- 8+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience taking systems through the RMF process to be fully secure and accredited to DoD standards
- Experience applying STIGs and SRGs
- Experience with various Microsoft technologies such as MS Office 2013 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Visio, and SharePoint
- Direct experience managing/working with DoD IT systems
- Good understanding of commercial solutions and the application of DoD cloud computing cybersecurity policy
- Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
- Agile Scrum/Kanban principles, PMI/ACP, ScrumMaster, or Product Owner Experience with the Atlassian Suite of tools to include JIRA & Confluence
- KM Platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams, Wiki tools) experience
- Strong background in DoD Acquisition policy, to include DoD Instruction Software Acquisition Pathway
- Oversight and execution of DoD cybersecurity, specifically DISA and DCSA policies
- Experience with Software Development Projects
- Experience with AWS GovCloud, containerization, and container orchestration

RESPONSIBILITIES Our specific work, which revolves around technology modernization for Industrial security, is an ongoing effort to add an analytic capability for industry partners and Government analysts that collects, stores, automates and centralizes information supporting risk analysis for entities in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
The candidate will support DCSA Industrial Security technology modernization by delivering data analytic services that will integrate with existing web application development to enhance and extract insights from specific commercial and government data
As part of the RBR PM NISS Engineering & Architecture Team, the Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for participating in design discussions, gathering and analyzing user requirements, documentation, and cybersecurity processes to develop optimal operation solutions compliant with current DoD policy
Deliverables include RMF documentation, requirements support and technical white papers
