    Who we are:
    The Oxford Seniors Community Adult Day Service (ADS) is designed to provide a supervision and support for older adults with cognitive or physical needs in a small group setting. We are open M-F from 8:30-4:30.

    Participants may be experiencing memory impairment or physical limitations which isolate them from the greater community.

    Participants find a secure environment, fun activities, and opportunity to socialize. Activities are focused on cognitive skills and healthy meals and snacks are provided. The atmosphere is one of acceptance and encouragement.

    Goals of Community Adult Day Service
    • To facilitate a level of independence for participants
    • To provide respite and support for caregivers
    • To enable participants to remain at home with their families for as long as possible
    Who we are looking for:
    The Director ensures that the day-to-day operations of Oxford Seniors' Adult Day Service (ADS) are completed. Markets the ADS and maintains census at maximum capacity.

    Essential Duties
    • Develops, reviews, and sets up care conferences for clients. Sets up appointments for case managers. Provides reports to case managers.
    • Provides for the assessment of all clients regarding physical needs, food intake, social, bathroom, psychosocial, medical and advance directives, and so forth.
    • Completes monthly charting for biannual reviews.
    • Ensures that all the needs of the clients are being met. This includes health, meals, social and other activities, mobility, toileting, transporting clients, and so forth. Directly assists clients with these and other related needs.
    • Enter Supportive Service documentation and daily census information into My Senior Center for billing.
    • Collects and compiles data for the annual Council On Aging review. Participates in various program marketing functions, such as delivering program newsletters.
    • Performs other duties of a comparable level or type.
    Skill Requirements
    • Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting.
    • Certification as LPN/RN or other recognized equivalent is preferred but not required.
    • Skilled in charting and assessing clients and relevant situations.
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 or other relevant software
    • Ability to research and provide CEUs for the STNA and reporting to the State Board of Nursing.
    • Ability to drive company vehicles.
    • Skilled at First Aid and CPR (recertified every two years).
    • Comfortable with marketing and making various presentations about the Center.
    • Able to manage full and part time employees
