The World Nurses company is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a contract opportunity at a small Critical Access Hospital in Texas.
Clinical Responsibilities
This role requires providing comprehensive care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients performing strong maternal and fetal assessments interpreting Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) assisting with deliveries supporting lactation education conducting immediate newborn care collaborating effectively within a small team environment working under pressure adapting quickly resolving conflicts prioritizing tasks communicating complex information objectively responding empathetically caring critically validating high-risk situations making quick decisions accurately reporting observations articulating knowledge demonstrating adaptability functioning well outside normal routine helping colleagues handling many variables developing long-lasting relationships through trust consistency stability resilience determination accountability teamwork compassion dedication respectful demeanor professionalism independence assertiveness critical thinking service commitment regular reviews refining health services extensively reacting appropriately adjusting thoughts behavior proactively understanding perceived risks interests perseverance conscientious empowering teammates coaching compassionate having frequent face-to-face communication addressing critical concerns advising creatively managing remote workforce productive performance enabling colleagues challenging themselves.
