- Deliver direct nursing care to research participants, including administering treatments and collecting specimens.
- Provide clinical education to participants and their families on study participation and health status.
- Monitor participants for potential adverse events and document research data accurately.
- Coordinate patient interactions, data collection, and recruitment efforts.
- Assist in various research tasks such as data compilation, documentation, and study participant interventions.
- Act as a liaison between participants, principal investigators, and research staff.
- Ensure compliance with human subjects protection guidelines and research protocols.
- Perform clinical procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
- Participate in sample collection, processing, and other research-related activities.
- Support patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings according to research protocols.
- Liaise with investigators, sponsors, and project stakeholders to monitor project progress.
- Assist in patient screening, recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and other research tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills and technical procedures required for research.
- Provide backup support and handle on-call duties as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient data records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support research activities.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or College Diploma Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Valid California RN license and current BLS certification required. CCRC/CCRP certification preferred.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required, with research nursing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and compliance with standards.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures and data management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
