We are seeking dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) for an exciting travel nurse opportunity in Key West, FL. The ideal RN will have at least 3 years of recent experience in acute care. See below for more details.
L&D Travel Nurses play a crucial role in caring for women before, during, and after childbirth. It is important for L&D RNs to ensure that they meet both the medical and emotional needs of their patients throughout the entire birthing process. In this role, you will assist doctors during procedures such as epidurals, episiotomies, and cesarean deliveries.
As an L&D Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
L&D Travel Nurses should be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods without difficulty. They should also be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds easily, and occasionally up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients. Due to the fast-paced nature of the job, L&D RNs must have strong stress management skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and of all ages.
Requirements*: ACLS, BLS, NRP, 3 Years
* Additional certifications may be necessary before commencing an assignment.
