The Qt team, together with their cutting-edge technology, is actively assisting industries in creating next-generation user interface solutions for industrial machinery, maritime vessels, satellites, automobiles, medical devices, consumer electronics, and IoT devices.
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will design and implement Qt-based solutions, conduct architectural reviews, provide training, and troubleshoot. You will collaborate closely with customers to ensure their success in Qt projects. This is a hybrid in-office position based in Birmingham, MI.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of software development experience, with expertise in C++, Qt, and QNX
Strong software architectural design skills
Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with resource-constrained devices in the embedded or mobile field
Graphics and OpenGL development experience (a plus)
Prior involvement in open-source communities and development (an advantage)
Familiarity with agile development principles (an advantage)
Self-driven and able to work independently
Capable of providing on-the-spot technical solutions to customers
Team player willing to engage with Qt employees across the organization
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Occasional travel may be required
