    Job Summary

    The position will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manger of US Public Relations & Events and the Director of US Marketing and Public Relations in the development of external brand communications through Public Relations and Philanthropic Partnerships in the US market.

    Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Public Relations

    • Work with Senior Manger of US PR & Events and Director of US Marketing and PR to develop annual PR and communications strategy for brand, its jewelry and timepiece collections, US salons and philanthropic partnerships
    • Liaise with New York-based Global Jewelry PR department and Swiss-based Global Timepiece PR department on PR initiatives, strategy, projects and approvals
    • Proactively seek opportunities to generate press coverage for the Harry Winston brand and its collections with both national and regional publications
    • Create and maintain relationships with key media partners across print and digital. Successfully plan, pitch and secure editorial placements
    • Distribute press materials to key press contacts and conduct follow up that results in positive and impactful press coverage
    • Reactively respond to press opportunities and assess their feasibility and impact on sales
    • Manage all jewelry and timepiece photoshoots- work with internal departments to secure required procedures and execute with onsite photoshoots and crediting
    • Attend photoshoots on an as needed basis and support internal teams with large brand moments
    • Partner with shopping center partners to ensure inclusion in their communications
    • Manage PR budget along with the reporting and accounting activities required
    • Work closely with the West Coast Communications Associate to ensure press goals and objectives are achieved on the west coast
    • Oversee US press events from inception to execution
    • Monthly clipping and reporting of jewelry and timepiece coverage to global PR departments. Assess performance across all categories YOY
    • Consistently monitor and report on competitor activities
    • Oversee and manage the work flow and the development of the US PR Associate

    Philanthropy

    • Partner with the Marketing & PR Director and Philanthropic Consultant on all existing and potential partnerships across the US
    • Continue to assess philanthropic organizations that fit the Brilliant Futures mission statement
    • Work with US Marketing team and local markets on brand activations at philanthropic galas and in-salon events. Serve as main point of contact for philanthropic partner, including their press teams and develop press releases to maximize coverage for sponsored events and initiatives
    • Partner with organizations to create ways to communicate the brand to their donor group to help drive traffic and sales to the local retail location
    • Attend select philanthropic events on an as needed basis
    • Closely track and report closed transactions that are tied to the partnership

    Job Qualifications

    • 5+ years in related field or position
    • Experience with jewelry and timepiece brands and or luxury retail brand preferred
    • Strong strategy development and relationship management skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
