- Track and maintain terminal leases and other contracts.
- Process Ariba (accounts payable) entries as needed by terminals and logistics.
- Maintain and track terminal registrations.
- Develop and maintain asset depreciation schedules.
- Dispatching (overflow/seasonal business)
- Prepare monthly P&L reports for terminals.
- Maintain and organize file management systems for maintenance, inspection and asset files.
- Barge freight market pricing trend and analysis. Requires barge line relationships, negotiations and management of all freight. Maintain barge freight database to monitor in-transit movements and communicate internal/external accordingly. Work closely with accounting on payable/receivable information. Report river conditions, business interruptions and all other pertinent market information.
- Ocean freight market pricing trend and analysis. Manage all aspects of vessel import including price negotiations, operations and communications with all parties. Work closely with stevedores/surveyors/barge lines, agent and US customs broker to efficiently offload cargoes.
- Develop and maintain river terminal economics, and logistics management. Requires terminal relationship management, through/put service agreements and price negotiations. Develop and maintain terminal database. Manage all
- Barge/terminal operations for unloads and direct transfers to truck and/or railcars. Will require coordination and communication with TEX, customers and railroads
- Rail freight and market pricing trend and analysis. Track all agreements. Maintain relationships/communications with all railway companies for direct interface. May negotiate freight rates with all railroads for WU terminals, owners, etc.
- Communicate with vendors, WU employees and customers to streamline flow of operational information. Requires coordination of rail shipments, transit and receiver unload. Maintain and communicate in-transit with all parties.
- Track WU leased rail equipment for optimal asset utilization and financial performance.
- Report all railroad conditions, service interruptions and all other pertinent market information.
- Requires communication with Procurement and Sales to better optimize value chains to end users.
- Perform other duties assigned by Director of Operations, as necessary.
- High school degree
- 6+ months of customer service and administrative experience
- Supply Chain experience a plus.
- Previous experience supporting multiple business groups
- Ability to multitask several projects occurring at the same time.
- Advanced computer skills, including abilities in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
