    BWXT is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team in Mt. Assist in developing detailed recovery plans for projects
    Perform reviews of contract and design requirements for acceptance of quality notifications
    Track status of project schedules and deliverables
    Work with Unit Manager to maintain contract performance metrics.
    Interface with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to manage change to component designs

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Civil Engineering, candidates with a degree from an ABET accredited institution will be preferred.

    The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance is required.
    Prior experience providing engineering support in a heavy manufacturing environment.
    Proficiency in MS Office
    Familiarity with SAP preferred

    The Manufacturing Engineer will work a 9/80 work week while receiving market leading pay, paid time off, paid winter holiday shutdown, educational refund plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance options and service-based retirement contributions with additional 401k match.


    However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

    Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.

    The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
