Motorsports Technician – Facilities & Fleet Maintenance

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Motorsports Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of snowmobiles, UTVs, and vehicles, while also assisting with property and facilities upkeep. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting problems, and keeping things running smoothly in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on snowmobiles, UTVs, and vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair issues and motorsports equipment
• Keep maintenance records and schedules organized
• Assist with general property and facility upkeep (basic carpentry, painting, repairs, etc.)
• Ensure tools, parts, and equipment are maintained and ready for use
• Respond flexibly to unexpected maintenance needs as they arise

Qualifications

• Willing train the right candidate
• Experience in motorsports maintenance, small engine repair, or similar mechanical work
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable using a wide range of hand and power tools
• Organized, reliable, and safety-conscious
• Previous experience in basic powersports maintence or property maintenance role a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities but limited to:

• Organize and maintain rental motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Basic motorized equipment maintenance and repair.
• Fleet maintenance of vehicles, snowmobiles, and UTVs
• Perform repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment.
• Perform general property repairs, including minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and landscaping
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, maintenance
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas and work garage spaces

Fleet Maintenance

• Conduct basic maintenance on Rental fleet of snowmobiles, UTVs, and company vehicles (e.g., oil changes, spark plugs, battery checks, belt and track inspections, basic repairs and safety checks)
• Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical issues
• Coordinate with external mechanics or vendors for major repairs
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all equipment

Helpful experience:

Experience not required will train the right candidate. The candidate must have a good work ethic and be able to work both supervised and unsupervised. Must have a can-do attitude and a flexible personality, as priorities can change rapidly. Must be reliable. Ability to multitask. Must have a drivers liscense.

• home or commercial property maintenance skills
• Previous experience in property or fleet maintenance a plus
• Working knowledge of small engines and recreational vehicles is a plus
• Basic hand and power tool proficiency required
• A flexible, easygoing person who can handle the unexpected without stress
• Basic knowledge of tools, small engines, and vehicle maintenance (we're happy to train the right person)
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and handle manual tasks
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
